Correction Policy

How we handle mistakes — transparently and promptly

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We are committed to publishing accurate, reliable content. Despite our best efforts, factual errors may occasionally appear. When they do, we correct them quickly and transparently in line with our Ethics Policy.

How We Handle Corrections

  1. Identification: Errors may be found by our team, through user reports, or third-party feedback.
  2. Verification: We verify the reported error against authoritative sources before making any change.
  3. Correction: Verified errors are corrected promptly, usually within 24 hours.
  4. Disclosure: A correction note is added to the article indicating what was changed and why.
  5. Review: Related content is reviewed to ensure the same error doesn't appear elsewhere.

Types of Corrections

MinorSpelling, grammar, broken links — fixed silently with a "Last updated" note
FactualIncorrect data, version numbers, compatibility info — fixed with an inline correction note
MajorSignificant factual inaccuracy — fixed with a prominent notice and explanation
